1. What DSCND is
DSCND is a Malaysia-based marketplace that connects divers with independent, verified dive operators. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment for dive trips and stay-and-dive packages. DSCND is not a dive operator — the dive experience itself is provided and delivered entirely by the third-party operator you book with.
2. Bookings and payments
When you make a booking, you enter into a direct agreement with the dive operator for that trip. Payments are processed through our payment gateway partner. Prices, inclusions, cancellation windows, and refund eligibility are set by each individual operator and shown to you before you confirm a booking.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund terms vary by operator and are displayed on the dive site or bundle page at the time of booking. If you believe a refund has been mishandled, contact us at trust@dscnd.my and we will help mediate with the operator.
4. Diver responsibilities
You are responsible for holding a valid diving certification appropriate to the dives you book, disclosing relevant medical conditions to your operator, and following the safety instructions given by dive guides and instructors. Diving carries inherent risk; DSCND does not supervise or guarantee the conduct of any dive.
5. Operator verification
We review certification credentials (PADI, SSI, NAUI, or equivalent) before an operator is listed as "Verified" on DSCND. Verification confirms the credentials provided to us at the time of review — it is not a continuing guarantee of an operator's conduct, equipment condition, or safety record.
6. Account use
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
